The Command Talkback ICS functions as a stand-alone handsfree talkback and intercom controller for large vessels, or as a communications network to centralize all communications functions such as Public Address, Shipboard and Satellite Telephone, as well as all types of handheld and long range radio transceivers. The central com functions are perfect for scientific vessels, military vessels and other large working vessels.
The The Multicom Command Talkback combines talkback, public address, telephone, radio communications, and general alarm into one package for total communications interface and control. The Command Talkback can be a standalone talkback/high power intercom/alarms controller, or part of a communications network for all types of wireless and hard-wired stations.
Great for passenger or military vessels with multiple talkback and communication stations, for research vessels with multiple communications stations and a communications operator, or workboats and drilling ships that need dependable communications for multiple stations.
The Command Talkback CT20 ICS can also integrate with the Multicom Voyager ICS or the Explorer ICS for expanded communications and talkback control at the pilot or control console when multiple paging zones and alarms are necessary.

The vessel shall have a system for communicating throughout the interior and exterior of the vessel. The system shall be a Multicom ICS ComTalk or approved equal. The central control for the ComTalk system shall be permanently installed adjacent to the pilot house, with two way communication stations located in specific areas of the vessel. Each interior deck shall have at least two feed lines from the main console in or adjacent to the pilot house. One line shall transverse port route while the other shall transverse a starboard route. Cabling shall be adequate in size and type for both applicable inspecting agencies approval as well as appropriate for carrying the proper voltage to the speakers with minimum loss.
All external weather deck areas shall have weatherproof speakers installed. Speakers shall be appropriate for the mounting area in form, fit, style and color. External speakers shall be Multicom (insert style and type here)
