Aevads

Multicom AEVADS The Automatic Emergency Voice Alarm Direction System (AEVADS) is the standard for passenger vessels with public spaces that generally encompass the entire length and breadth of each main vertical zone and operate in protected or partially protected waters. Examples are gambling vessels, dinner excursion vessels, and ferries with higher passenger densities.

The Multicom AEVADS is a monitored PA/GA/Voice Evacuation system that integrates the public address system directly with the fire panel. It provides prioritized paging, general alarm, and safely and automatically directs your passengers away from fire-affected zones in the event of an emergency.   In everyday operation, it acts as a high-quality digital public address system for paging and announcements, or even background music. In the event of a vessel emergency, the general alarm function overrides and the alarm tone is sounded through the speaker system. In the event of a fire, zone-related messages direct passengers to either stay where they are or to move to a specific safe location. AEVADS must be used in conjunction with a zoned fire panel.
