OpportunitiesSenior Installation Technician
Possessing one or more of the following skills: audio, video, telephone, carpentry, metal-working, basic computer networking and basic electronics. The Senior Installation Technician takes a lead role in the field to facilitate the installation of systems and equipment. This position may require crew supervision and basic reporting of hours and financial expenditures to the Project Manager. On smaller projects, this position may take the role of Project Manager (see Project Manager). Please note: This position requires travel for both short and long periods of time as directed by the project. Assistant Installation Technician
Must be able to follow drawings for the installation of wire and cable at job sites. A knowledge of basic electronics as well as basic carpentry skills are necessary for the mounting of speakers, racks and other electronics at a jobsite. Please note: This position requires travel for both short and long periods of time as directed by the project. Fabrication Technician
Possessing one or more of the following skills: basic electronics, ability to accurately follow drawings, basic carpentry and metal-working, soldering, and the ability to use basic electronics testing equipment. The Fabrication Technician position primarily integrates separate electronic pieces of equipment into racks or cases while permanently wiring the system to operate successfully and correctly. The Fabrication Technician must have the ability to lift and hold equipment for mounting of up to 40 lbs. Please note: This position may require occasional travel to assist in field installations. Project Manager
Oversees all aspects of a project from fabrication to on-sight installation. The Project Manager is responsible for the flow of a project and tracking/reporting of its progress. These responsibilities include client relationships, employee efficiency, maintaining the budget of a project in hours and equipment, and on-going communication with design and engineering to effectively meet clients' needs. Please note: This is a HANDS ON position which requires the Project Manager to work alongside of the installation technicians and perform the same installation duties as the people he/she is supervising, unless the project is so large that it requires a full-time manager. An entrepreneurial sales professional should be experienced with sound, lighting, video and or communication systems. The sales professional should be familiar working with a local, national, as well as international market. Multicom specializes in the sales of electronic products and services for casinos, maritime and other niche high profile areas. The ideal candidate would have a background in audio, video and or communication systems- with prior work experience or exposure to either boats and ships (maritime) or hospitality, casino and amusement facilities. A working knowledge of audio and video system equipment design and implementation is necessary. Prior sales experience is mandatory, with the ability to generate and qualify leads, and close sales. Please note: Company sponsored travel for both maritime and casino divisions are mandatory as some of our clientele is outside of the St. Louis area.
