Multicom began as a sound system contracting company for regional entertainment venues in 1975. Multicom’s expertise and reputation for quality products in the Pro Audio industry lead to the awarding of a design and construction project of a sound system for a new cruise line. The opportunity for expansion within this business began to appear quickly as our reputation for integration of entertainment and approved emergency systems grew within the industry. The introduction into the Maritime business allowed for rapid growth and by 1980 Multicom pioneered the first commercially available integrated sound system for marine vessels. The Multicom Integrated Systems Division was born.

With growing experience and the desire to do more, Multicom also broke into what is now a multimillion dollar industry by designing and building the electronics for the first mobile Event Marketing tour in 1985. Event marketing agencies can now be found all over the United States offering mobile tours and events nationwide. Multicom is now the largest supplier of electronics and special effects for this ever growing industry.

In 1992, Multicom began manufacturing the line of integrated communications systems (ICS) that are seen today. Multicom’s AEVADS system enhanced the integration of all shipboard systems for the casino and ferry industry. Multicom has provided equipment for a majority of riverboat Casinos in the United States. We also pioneered the first emergency telephone communication using ships since the In recent years, the concentration on communication systems for water based as well as land based casinos has allowed Multicom to address the global market.

Multicom has continued to grow and introduce new products and new divisions. We now have one of largest e commerce divinsions in our industry with multiple web page portals, along with a logistics system for moving a very large volume of pro electronics in an ever faster manner.
