Multicom began as a sound system contracting company for regional entertainment venues in 1975. Multicom’s expertise and reputation for quality products in the Pro Audio industry lead to the awarding hin the industry. The introduction into the Maritime business allowed for rapid growth and by 1980 Multicom pioneered the first commercially available integrated sound system for marine vessels. The Multicom Integrated Systems Division was born.

    With growing experience and the desire to do more, Multicom also broke into what is now a multimillion dollar industry by designing and building the electronics for the first mobile Event Marketing tour in 1985. Event marketing agencies can now be found all over the United States offering mobile tours and nationwide. Multicom is now the largest supplier of and special effects for this ever growing industry.
